Penn State Board of Trustees: Paterno Out

In what was an expected yet still shocking move, the Penn State Board of Trustees unanimously voted to remove longtime football coach Joe Paterno effective immediately this evening.  As surreal as it is to grasp, this was a necessary move in the eyes of many as it has become widely known that Paterno knew yet failed to alert authorities outside of school officials that longtime coordinator Joe Sandusky was witnessed first hand molesting a 10 year old boy on campus.  It is assumed Paterno may have known that this was not the only instance of this occurring as well.

Sad news out of Happy Valley, and more so sad to see victims continue to come out as the number of those Sandusky abused continues to rise.  All because a few grown men failed to speak up.
